JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for all business development initiatives and strategic direction of Business Development & Entrepreneurship to include the Small Business Development Center, Ohio River Valley Women’s Business Council and the African American Business Development Program. Is responsible for management of all strategic and collaborative partnerships for the Business Development & Entrepreneurship Department of the Urban League. Manages the day-to-day activities of Ohio River Valley Women’s Business Council as its Executive Director.

PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE: Valley Learning Center, Inc. (VLCI), Cincinnati, OH, February 2005-April 2008; Project Manager providing overall responsibility for management of various events, activities, programs, daily operations and financial oversight of the organization.
Reliable Family Financial Services, Inc., Cincinnati, OH, January 2004-January 2005; Manager/Loan Officer providing loans for residential and commercial real estate property to consumer and commercial customers. Provided training for office personnel and represented organizations at various community functions.
CIT Group, Bloomfield Hills, MI, January 2003-August 2003; Operations Manager of the Detroit office with responsibilities for the day-to-day operations function of the consumer mortgage business.
People Helping People, Salt Lake City, UT, June 2001-May 2002; Director of Development leading all fundraising efforts for nonprofit providing employment training, coaching and contacts to empower women to become financially self-sufficient.
