Youth Services

We conduct a comprehensive assortment of youth programs that serve to shepherd youth through the hazards they face every day in their environments. These programs include leadership training, computer skills development, college scholarships, after school programs, educational seminars, community service projects and employment opportunities.

After School League

The goal of this program area is to increase student achievement through academic enrichment opportunities. It features the Urban League's innovative Cincy After School programs at Rothenberg, Rockdale and South Avondale's Community Learning Centers. In addition, the League offers Supplemental Education Services tutoring and other programs at local churches.

Project Ready

The National Urban League's Incentive to Excel and Succeed program is our premier youth leadership development program. Through regular meetings, field trips and discussion groups, this program helps high school students develop long-term goals and strategies for success as adults. This 9-month program covers topics from etiquette to active community services. Participants also travel to attend the National Urban League's annual conference.
