Donna Jones Baker has served as President/CEO of the Urban League of Greater Cincinnati since November 2003. She has more than 25 years of nonprofit leadership experience, as well as educational credentials that include a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Murray State University and a Master’s of Business Administration degree from the University of Baltimore. Ms. Baker has participated in the Urban League’s African American Leadership Development Program, Leadership Cincinnati, the Greater Baltimore Committee’s Leadership Program, LEADERSHIP Maryland, and Harvard University’s Kennedy School Program for Senior Executives.

Ms. Baker serves as co-chairperson of Cincinnati Mayor Mark Mallory’s Complete Count Committee (an initiative designed to ensure an accurate 2010 Census count) and of PULSE, the Women’s Fund regional study on the status of women and girls in Greater Cincinnati. Ms. Baker also serves as a member of the Board of the Greater Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce. She is a member of the Cincinnati Chapter, Links, Incorporated, and Delta Sigma Theta, a community service sorority.

Ms. Baker’s achievements have been recognized with numerous awards, including YWCA of Greater Cincinnati’s 2006 Woman of Achievement Award, a Human and Civil Rights Award from the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, Who’s Who in Black Cincinnati, Living Women History Makers Award from the Baltimore Club of the National Association of Black Professional Women’s Clubs, and Outstanding Alumnus Award from the University of Baltimore.
