Employment Connections is a seven-step, six-hour, two-day program that teaches participants how to connect with potential employers. Topics covered include networking, career goals, resumes and interviewing. The main objective of EC is to equip participants with the necessary tools in order to compete in today’s job market.
In 2014, Employment Connections had a 100-percent graduation rate and 83-percent employment rate.
- Participants must have a resume
- Participants must be a dislocated worker within the last year
- Must have solid work history or currently be employed and wanting to transition into a new career
- Able to pass 3 point interview during one on one session
