Constance Phillips

Constance D. Phillips has more than 25 years of administrative experience. Sheis currently the Executive Assistant to the President and CEO of the Urban League of Greater Southwestern Ohio. In this role she is responsible for the day to day operations of the President’s office as well as providing for the smooth and efficient operation of all business matters pertaining to the Executive Office including scheduling and budget management. Additional responsibilities include serving as staff liaison to the Urban League of Greater Southwestern Ohio Board of Trustees, its Executive Team and the Senior Staff. She is also actively involved with the League’s Employee Involvement Committee, and serves that committee’s liaison to the Executive Office. Ms. Phillips is a skilled workshop facilitator and is responsible for creating and facilitating in-service training programs for the League’s administrative support staff.

Prior to assuming her current position in June, 2006, Ms. Phillips’ career included employment at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center and the College of Conservatory Music at the University of Cincinnati where she held administrative roles that supported the organizations’ missions.  Ms. Phillips serves as a League representative on several committees including, but not limited to, The Green Cincinnati Steering Committee, the Faith Community Alliance and the Cincinnati Police Department Series. In 2010 she was a key non-profit organization representative on the Mayor’s 2010 Cincinnati Census Complete Count Committee.

Ms. Phillips is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. As part of her personal journey as a lifelong learner, and in addition to her preventative health care regimen, Ms. Phillips is a member of the High Achievers Toastmasters Club and has served in key leadership positions within the organization over the last four years. She is also an active member of the Church of Cincinnati.
