Our benefit offerings include:

  • Health and Dental insurance coverage is available at a shared cost (see Health Benefit Premium Chart). Eligibility is at time of employment; however all employees must work an average of 30 hours per week or more in a month. Beginning January 1, 2000, the employee’s portion of the medical coverage cost will be pretax, Section 125. In short, the employee will pay payroll taxes on their salary less their portion of the medical payment.
  • Vacation is prorated and accumulates during each pay period (see Vacation policy). Vacation days are available for use after 90 days of employment.
  • Sick time off is earned at a rate of one day per month, to a maximum of 90 days. Available for use after 90 days of employment.
  • Long-term disability insurance provided to staff working 30 hours or more per week. Coverage begins the 1st of the month after at least 90 days of employment.
  • Short-term disability insurance is available at the employee’s expense through a supplemental insurance carrier.
  • Worker’s Compensation is provided.
  • Group Life Insurance is provided to staff working 20 hours or more per week. Insurance provided is equal to 2 ½ times the employee’s salary. Coverage begins the 1st of the month after at least 90 days of employment.
  • Participation in the Nationwide 401(k) is available after one year of service and 1,000 hours worked.
  • Voluntary benefits are available through AFLAC, Colonial Life and Superior Vision.
