Vice President of Development and Strategic Initiatives

The primary role of the Vice President of Development and Strategic Initiatives is to provide the staff work necessary for the CEO and the Board of Trustees to secure the resources necessary to advance the agency’s strategic direction including inspiring members of the community to participate in the mission of the Urban League of Greater Cincinnati in greater numbers and depth. To accomplish this, the vice president must develop, organize, successfully implement, and lead an integrated fund development department which links with key public relations and volunteer programming to achieve specific short term goals and builds toward aggressive long term goals. Homework Assistant

Provide direct academic and enrichment services to youth in grades K-8th at South Avondale School. Team interaction with existing Cincy After School (CAS) program staff to deliver homework assistance and enrichment activities in both an after school and summer format. Responsible for implementation of the assigned Urban League education initiatives. Ensures Urban League/United Way systems are in place and maintained to meet program objectives. Lead Tutor

Provide direct academic and enrichment services to youth in grades K-8th. Develop lesson plans in mathematics and reading in an after school program. Responsible for coordination of the assigned Urban League education initiatives. Ensures systems are in place and maintained to meet program objectives. Responsible for the development of tutoring activities and lesson plans for all youth participants, and all other assigned activities and services, including responsibility for meeting stated objectives and performance outcomes, and that activities are consistent with the objectives, policies, standards and accepted practices of the Urban League of Greater Cincinnati. SES Tutor
