The Adult Services Department of the Urban League of Greater Cincinnati offers a dynamic array of programs and services designed to in assist you with advancing your career or reentering the workforce.

Learn & Earn

A Work Readiness and Job Placement Program

Earn up to $320 while you train for a better job.

Students are paid stipends to attend work readiness classes. You must live in an Empowerment Zone to be eligible: Avondale, Corryville, CUF, Evanston, Mt. Auburn, Over-the-Rhine, Queensgate, Walnut Hills, or West End. Other eligibility requirements may apply.

- The 3 week pre-employment training program is the SOAR program. It provides job readiness for people who have faced challenges finding or keeping employment. Job placement assistance is also provided.

- The 4 week training program is the ACE program. The Accelerated Call Center Program helps participants develop the skills necessary to obtain meaningful and stable employment in the call center industry.
